Charlotte Parthenay was Louis XIV's goddaughter.
She and her family were the first victims of the Rebel Conspirators.
Biography[]
Season One[]
She and her family is on the road to the Palace of Versailles. Some Rebel Conspirators recruited by the Duke of Cassel attack and kill first her father, her mother Françoise and then her brother. Charlotte can escape, but is shot down by Montcourt.
On the next day, Fabien Marchal finds her and her family. Her last words were I saw angels before she dies in his arms.

Françoise is Charlotte's mother. Charlotte also has a brother and father whose names we do not know.
Louis XIV of France[]
Charlotte is Louis' goddaughter. The King looks forward to Charlotte's arrival because she will bring a little ray of sunshine to Versailles.
