He accompanied Jacques-Bénigne Bossuet to Versailles. When confronted by Philippe of France about the fact that he was a Knight of Damascus, Di Marco tried to kill him. He lost his dagger in the fountain during the struggle and tried to submerged Philippe in the water in an attempt to drown him, Philippe caught the upper hand when he found Di Marco's dagger and stabbed him with it.
