Louis de Rohan-Chabot, Duke of Rohan is a childhood friend of Louis XIV and a highly skilled soldier.
He is also the ring leader of the conspirators in the coup against King Louis. In Season Two, it is revealed that he was a spy working secretly for William of Orange.

Early Life[]
Already as a 20-year-old he was the Grand Huntsman of France (Grand Veneur de France), then Guard Colonel Louis XIV. He had to give up his job as a great hunter master later, when he was involved in the flight of the royal mistress Maria Mancini. He participated in the war against Spain (1654-1659) and from 1672 on the Dutch war.

Rohan is captured by Fabien Marchal and his rebellion is crushed shortly after he kidnapped the Dauphin. He was thrown into a prison cell and rotting away within Versailles. His vision is later burned with the solar mirrors by Fabien Marchal, who also carried out a swift beheading.

Louis always called Rohan his friend. They were close since childhood. However, he was denied a seat at the court, in which Rohan harbored hatred for a man he once called his friend and made a deal with William of Orange.
Mike[]
Musket Mike was a hired mercenary for Rohan and his conspirators to assassinate Henriette of England, when Mike was arrested, Rohan saved him and killed two musketeers in the process.
