Paris

Paris is the capital of the Kingdom of France and the seat of government.

Louis XIV of France chose rather to govern from his fathers hunting lodge-turned-castle Versailles southwest of the city than live within the inner city. The inhabitants of Paris are mostly common folk since most of the Noble-born are residing at the palace.
